Check It Out!!

 

The picture says it all.  Connor was playing with Papa Geno on the floor and he kept letting go of his shirt and standing on his own, so we figured it was a good time to do some walking practice.  Usually we have to hold onto Connor’s waist or the back of his shirt until he’s moving on his own, but this time, we let go as soon as he started walking.  He was walking the full distance between Papa and I all on his own.  I called for Jen upstairs while Papa held him and as soon as he saw Jen, he turned himself toward her, steadied himself, and quickly walked over to her.  He probably covered 4 feet. 

A year after I published my first “AlmostParents” blog post, Connor takes his first official steps.
